IMPORTANT GUIDELINES

FAQS

What is red light therapy?

Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light that are studied for their ability to support cellular repair, circulation, and recovery.

How does the mat work?

The mat contains hundreds of LEDs that emit therapeutic red and near-infrared light. When you lie on the mat, the light penetrates the body’s tissues and stimulates cellular activity.

Do I need to have my skin uncovered?

Not necessarily. Red and near-infrared light can pass through thin clothing. However, exposed skin allows the most light to reach the body, so removing thicker layers can enhance the experience.

Will the mat feel hot?

No. The mat produces gentle warmth, but it should feel comfortable and relaxing rather than hot.

How long should I use it?

In our studio, mats are used during one-hour classes or 30-minute relaxation sessions.

What does it feel like?

Most people experience gentle warmth, deep relaxation, and a restorative feeling similar to lying in sunlight.

Is it safe?

Red light therapy is non-invasive and drug-free. (Consult a provider if pregnant or light-sensitive).

Can I fall asleep?

Yes! Many people do during the self-guided sessions.
